MY ROLE AT THE
SOUTH END NEWSPAPER
The South End is Wayne State University's official student newspaper. I've been the head graphic designer since December 2020 and mainly focus on creating graphics for our website and the digital edition. Some of my weekly tasks are brainstorming ideas with team members, creating graphics/illustrations, and suggesting improvements to our social media pages.

RAMADAN KAREEM
This article was written by Arben Gacaferi. It speaks on Muslim students that are observing the second Ramadan during the pandemic. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset and celebrate with their friends and family.
ART THERAPY
Bethany Owens wrote this special article that resonated with me. Professors say art therapy is ‘right for your brain’ and sleep schedule. The graphic above visually explains the amazing benefits of this alternative route of therapy.
